Each pair has its own individual set of characteristics, such as: steel or composite toe cap, polyurethane (PU) or rubber sole and a variety of upper materials. All of which will assist to focus a search for the most appropriate style, so making the selection process easier. All safety footwear sold by Arden Winch conforms to either the latest harmonised European Standard: EN ISO 20345:2004 Safety Footwear, or BS EN345, BS EN346 or BS EN347, thus are classed as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by the European PPE Directive 89/686/EEC.
